11:01 pm - Leaf Peepin'
Driving a good chunk of the north-south axis of new england, it's hard to say where "peak" foliage is. There's just a constant stippled presence of bare, dead, colored, and green trees in differing proportions. Welch-Dickey was definitely past-peak, but still a good hike. I saw lots of folks slipping on the steep slabs, but emerged uninjured myself.
