There's a cluster of peaks right in the middle of the Pemigewasset Wilderness where you can almost pretend that civilization doesn't exist. On a clear day, the only evidence of man's hand is the weather station atop Mt. Washington. No roads, no towns, to traffic noise, certainly no trams carrying midwestern tourists to the top. Bondcliff isn't the best of these mountains, but it's the most accessible of them requiring only a 5 mile approach before the summit trail even really starts. It's either an aggressive one day trip or a comfortable overnight. We did it in two and had a great time.( Collapse )
